As is the way of progress, Petzl have updated their headlamp range...

We've got a couple left, so it's time to clear them out and make space for the shiny new ones.


Petzl Zipka Plus

A handy little light - no fabric band but a thin cord instead, making it easy to keep in a pocket and can be used on a wrist, attached to a pole etc. Ideal as a back-up.

- white LED and red LED
- 70 lumens
- runs off 3 AAA batteries

Petzl Tikkina 2

The bog-standard Petzl headlamp. Emits 23 lumens, which is enough to find your way around but otherwise more suited to working in cupboards, finding your way around when the power fails and so on.

Petzl Tacktikka

Camo! Basically a version of the Tikkina with a flip-up red diffuser for, er, tactical things. Also handy for keeping your night vision for things like fishing or map-reading.
