Event name: Furness Iron and the B45 Pit.Date and time: 01/04/2021 / 20.00Details: Chris Jones will give an overview of the iron industry of the Furness Peninsular, concentrating on the history of the Lindal Moor area, and in particular the securing of B45 pit. Chris lived in a miner''s cottage in the middle of the Moor for many years and although moved away still has an interest in the area.
