Further to my notification of events this week, if anyone wants a trip INSIDE Parys Mountain - Parys, Mona or through trip between the two mines, for up to 4 people, PUG could handle on our usual Wednesday evenings. We meet up at the car park adjacent to the B5111 Amlwch - Llanerchermedd road on the mountain, almost opposite the Morris Shaft headgear at 6:30 ready to go up to the mine for 7. We need to know you're coming and you need to have BCA insurance or we can make you a temporary member of PUG for £10 which covers insurance for 17 days allowing you a revisit or two.

Usually the through trip would be by special arrangement during daytime as it's longer and daytime trips can be arranged for larger parties but you'd need to give us plenty of notice as we haven't many guides these days.

You can contact me in the first instance by pm and I'll sort it with Lionel, to our access officer.

Excellent Clive and all at PUG. Should be a good weekend although unfortunately I am working so won't be able to attend Friday night or Saturday but would like to make it for the Sunday afternoon, weather permitting. The L/R forecast gives clody and sunny spells. Ideal!

Particularly sad to miss out on a party in the Dinorben Arms. Always a good night out there on a Friday.

Regret that the Parys 250 Committee have just announced that tomorrow, Friday, and Sunday's events are postponed because of the weather. :(

They much regret it as tomorrow was the actual 250th anniversary but safety of everyone has to be the No.1 priority.

The events will be rearranged for as soon as possible and I'll announce the new dates as soon as I get them

Sorry again
