Heh! Are you serious? That's quite funny. It didn't feel like 50m. And we only had a few metres left at the bottom! And this is having tied it to Marty's orange off-cut! I'm glad you brought that one Mick and not anything shorter. :guns:

Greetings folks. I reckon the second pitch is longer than we thought. I have just washed the 30m rope we used on Saturday only to discover that it's the 50m one :o:o:-[

If you look at the UCET map it says "170ft" which is 51mtrs.

Wow!

It does explain why the whole thing was a bit bouncy.

To knot ropes on one pitch may be regarded as a misfortune; to knot both looks like carelessness

Looks like you all had fun. Was good to have a quick chat in the layby, sorry I couldn't join you u/g. If there's another trip to the east (my original home ground), hope to join in - if it's a weekend and I'm at the old place over the hill from Belgrave (can see Bog and the Maesafn mines from my back window across the valley...).

I had 'fun' at my granddaughter's birthday party - my ears are still ringing. Oh well, these are the things you have to do when you're Taid Clive! See most of you on 17th in Caernarfon.
