A new event has been added to the Events page.

Event name: Mining Gala at Apedale Heritage Centre

Date & time: 15/06/2013 at 10:00

Details: The inaugural Mining Gala to be held at the Apedale Heritage Centre over the weekend of 15th/16th June, to include access to the Mining Museum, underground mine tours, steam train rides, live music, refreshments and traditional fairground rides.

Exhibitors currently to attend include: Mines Rescue Service, Winsford Salt Mine, Friends of Chatterley Whitfield, Forest of Dean Free Miners and Shropshire Mines Trust.

Well, what a great event this was! Particularly good to see so many families enjoying the day. We went on the Sunday, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
