Very true lol. I will have to think of somewhere to position my self to get the best pics 🙂 think have figured out an easy way of triggering bulbs remotely as well so could be fun 🙂

I suspect given the snow on the mountains it'd make sense to walk up to Croesor via the track from Croesor village rather than flounder across the hillside from Rhosydd after walking up from Cwmorthin.

Driving is probably out of the question - I was going to ask for permission, but I suspect the track will be covered in snow and or be very icy.

So, how about 10.30am at the carpark in Croesor village, and 9.30am at the Lakeside café (just called them, they open at 9am) for anybody wanting their fix of fried bird embryos and tubes of gristle beforehand?

Quick change of plan folks- we're meeting at Tanygrisau instead- so we can get the floundering through huge snow drifts on the tops out of the way at the start of the day rather than when we're soaking wet! :thumbup:

Fear not however- there is also a cafe there (but it is the one that's a bit less reliable on opening times/days)

9.30 in Tanygrisiau at the Lakeside Café if you're having breakfast

Or 10.30 at the Cwm car park if you're not

Or pop into the Café for a brew on the way up if you're not having breakfast and are a bit early / need warming up!

We think walking up from Cwm will be easier, it'll certainly mean at the end of the day we're not floundering around trying to find paths whilst soaking wet. Straight out Rhosydd and straight down to cars. It would also be feasible to dump some dry warm clothes at Rhosydd.
