Righty...

Following some tortured negotiations, I shall be in attendance on Friday evening :o

Other than the small issues that I currently own neither a tent not a portable barbeque, I'm intending to address the depraved needs of the northern contingent and provide some sort of processed unrecognisable animal parts charred to a cinder

"Kebabs for breakfast" I hear you shout!

Anyway...

Two questions:

1. Who wants feeding on Friday evening?

2. What do you want provided?

I'm suggest that I bring along a couple of disposable BBQs, food (yes, if I can find kebabs, I'll get them) and a *small* amount of alcohol as I seem to recall having to divvy a load up in the morning - and it seemed a bit unfair to a certain long-haired alcopop drinker ;)

This should also keep the costs down to below a tenner per person.

Early replies would be appreciated and are more likely to influence the shopping list! ;)

====================================
List of those who are being fed:

Vanoord & possibly Mrs.Van
SimonRL
RJV
Bri
JCam
RichWithoutTheGirlyHairAnyMore

RockChick & JtS possibly late on?

Excellent!
Quantity over quality obviously.

I wouldn't worry too much about the blond lassie and her drinks.
Blaenau Co-op was well stocked up with her cut-price tipple of choice a couple months ago and it hard to imagine that they've flogged any of it since...

I'm hoping me and Jones the Slate will be along in time to join you guys on Friday, but we may be on the late side.
My vote food wise would be for bacon (yes- it does work on a bbq), sausages and chicken legs.
Would it be easier for everyone if we all sorted our own drink? it's not like it'll go off while sitting in a car!!!

I'll sort my own drink, thanks to RJV for the Amber Jack reassurance. I'd like to get involved with any kind of BBQ.

Perhaps we should all just get our own beer then.

Bri & John Cam will probably pop their heads up before we set off tomorrow afternoon but if not I'd take it as read that they'll be wanting the barbeque.

As an aside, since the barbeque is now on Friday night it leaves Saturday free. If anyone fancies it a quick detour can be made into Machynlleth on the way back from Bryn Eglwys for a visit to the Taj Mahal. Excellent curries though perhaps not toxic enough for Ffestiniog regulars...

I've added them.

I'll steer clear of beer (see what I did there?) then, so you'll all have to make your own arrangements!

Cheers Rich-Vanoord for adding me,

It seems a good idea to get our own drink & Friday nights as good as any.

As for the arrangements for Saturday is there an alternative to illuminus spiced road kill or is it majority rule?

The Welsh badger cull has been cancelled. Not sure whether that improves your odds of finding something acceptable to eat or not... :bored:

Yup also have a 100' rope packed & various rigging gear.

If there's anything else can you let me know by four?
