Vanoord has offered to arrange all the food and drink and do the BBQ for Saturday night. It'll be a good one, he is rather good at the old BBQ...

He suggested everybody chip in a tenner to cover the food for everybody and what's left he'll spend on beer and drinks.

Just so as I have an idea of numbers - and therefore how much to spend - it would be handy if I can work out who will be joining in the communal barbie on Saturday night. If everyone bungs in a tenner, I shall shop accordingly and buy beer with whatever is left over!

Righty.... Mrs.Vanoord has been very helpful and pointed out several very basic things that I've overlooked!

I'm assuming that Mr.RL will be bringing his barbeque as I have had a small DIY incident and stranded my barbie somewhere I can no longer get to until I spend a couple of hours with power tools...

I shall procure charcoal and lighting devices; also some sort of paper plates and shovelling devices.

The menu will feature burgers, sausages, some sort of greenery and anything else I can lay my paws on, almost certainly including bread products.

Is anyone vegetablist? If so, what the heck do you eat? 😮

I shall be bringing WowWow sauce: how hot should it be?

Alcohol? Any preferences for particular beers? A couple of bottles of wine; water and perhaps a coke or two should complete the list...

Any requests, curious dietary requirements, complaints in advance etc etc etc???

My doctor says I'm only allowed to eat steak and pork chops! And kebabs.

Preferably Theakstons or Jennings if its ale otherwise any old cooking lager.

I have a fold up camping table packed and Chris has a few disposable barbeques but probably not enough to cater for however many people there are on Saturday.

Oh and garlic sauce would be good.

My BBQ is packed ready... It's looking a bit rusty and sorry for itself, but nothing a medium sized conflagration won't sort out.
