I' a new member and would like advice on the best way of adding a youtube video to a particular mine archive. It seems ok for maps / images etc but not sure about providing a Youtube url.

Can anyone advise?

Hi Gowercaver

Unfortunately there's no facility to tag YouTube videos into a mine's page or photo library.

But you can add them to the forum if you want to. Just copy and paste in the clip id and put [yootube] [/yootube] square brackets around it (spelt correctly of course - I've spelt it incorrectly there to show the tags, otherwise the forum would try to display a video there!)

I have videos of 5 mines in Mid and north Wales. Should I create a single new topic of mine videos with all of them in or should i try to find an existing forum conversations on particular mines and add the links one by one?

Whatever you prefer 🙂 Easiest I would say to add them to a new thread so you can group them together.

You're also welcome to upload them to the AditNow YouTube channel if you want to promote them that way as well.
