while trying to look at the photos for Lautenthals Glueck User Album the thumbnails are there but when i try to open picture i get "oops this photo does not exist" is this me or a bug.

In this case (and in general web pages)
it means that the "thumbnail" has been saved on the webpage file. but that the larger version is missing.
Typically the thumbnail has a "hyperlink" to another, larger image.

There's a duplicate album. I suspect one of the admins has been faffing & deleted the wrong bits from the wrong bits.

You just can't get the staff!

The photos are still there, just floating around unattached. I can't fix it but SRL should be able to I think.

I originally created the mine with an umlaut in the mine name, and hence also in the album names. After Simon performed a recent upgrade umlauts and other "odd" characters failed to be recognised correctly and so I renamed the mine, however I found I was unable to rename the albums. Simon had a go at sorting the mess out, but it seems that he wasn't entirely successful.

Recognised, but blocked. All non A-Z and 0-9 (plus _ and -) characters are now blocked from querystring values for security reasons. I'm very keen to keep the database and the members' details as safe as possible from malicious sql injection attacks and the like.

This sort of issue will be resolved once and for all in a month or so when the new mine and album pages go live.

@Skimble - to fix it for now, are you able please to re-upload to this new album in a new copy of the mine I've created:

Another little glitch I've jsut spotted, on looking at the Hemerdon album I noticed that the tab title in Firefox was "photographs of photographs of Hemerdon mine":blink:

@Skimble - I've located the original photos on the server and re-uploaded them to the new album, then re-tagged them to your user ID

@AR - yup, that's a glitch. Can you live with it please until next week some time when the new album page goes live. The new album page (like the new photo page) fixes a lot of these small issues. The new mine page (when it's finished) will fix the rest.
