A few new forum features have been added, all linked off the new navigation under Latest Topics:

Latest 30 Topics
Today's Topics NEW
This Week's Topics NEW
Random 30 Topics NEW

The last one (as the name suggests) pulls of 30 random topics from the database, so a bit of a gimmick really, but might produce something of interest.

Another new forum feature today. Now the forum has grown a lot over the past 12 months, it's a bit slow generating the index pages for some forums that have thousands of posts.

So, the default view for forum index pages (like North Wales or Underground Video & Photography for example) is topics posted to in the last 30 days.

If you want to widen the date range you can; there's a drop-down menu near the top right.

Hope that makes sense.

For locating older posts, don't forget there's also a comprehensive search feature here http://www.aditnow.co.uk/community/search.aspx or to rekindle an argument that died 6 months ago check out the random topic generator http://www.aditnow.co.uk/community/random.aspx 🙂
