By way of a thank you for the incredible work done by certain members in maintaining the Major Mining Regions, the Forum and other areas of the site I've created a dedicated page to let people know who is involved in the day to day running of the site.

You'll find it here: http://www.aditnow.co.uk/contributors/

Some roles are currently vacant, and if anybody reading this has the knowledge that they'd like to share by taking on a role and contributing to a major online mine and quarry exploration resource then we would love to hear from you.

Of course, thanks also go to everybody, absolutely everybody who has added mines, uploaded photographs, participated in the forum or shared any other content.

Thank you all!

The Future

I am absolutely committed to continuing to develop this site, to keep adding new features both pro-actively and re-actively and working to create a useful, free, online resource for the mine and quarry exploration community.

Clubs & Forums

A new feature added recently are private forum areas for clubs and bodies involved in mine exploration, research and preservation. These can be open, semi-private or totally private (club members only). This facility is provided completely free of charge to any club that is interested. If you are in a club or group and feel you could benefit from this then please just drop me a line with your requirements by email mailto:[email protected] .

New Members

Hopefully new members can be attracted to the site over time, if you've any friends or colleagues you'd like to introduce then please feel free to do so. Anybody with an interest, past or present in exploration, preservation or mining or quarry history from across the whole UK is very welcome here!
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

This is of course very easy to do with the "Tell A Friend" feature :http://www.aditnow.co.uk/tellafriend/
