aditnow is just as good as mine-explorer, ok the latter has more photos, but this is constructed by a genious! 😉

You can try the advanced options on your internet explorer (whatever it is).
You can change a setting which allows your ip to recognise different formats, although this might be a different thing. :zzz:

Aaaggghhh, I got out for a few hours and it descends into chaos 😉

The rubber duck (actually it was a helmet with caplamp) has been replaced as teh favourites icon, with something that is supposed to be three sticks of dynamite 😮

I think it only shows in your favourites in Internet Explorer 7, but it should show in the address bar in all browsers.

It certainly was never intended to go head to head with mine-explorer, and I don't want to. I'm sure there's space for 2 mine eploring sites on the web (there are loads anyway) and ME has got shedloads of photos and documents on it.

I started this site as a record of our own little adventures, and it seems to have grown from there.

That said, it would be nice to see more pictures being uploaded.

Copy of new features list - additional 'wish list' items in italics

Just for reference, the order of adding new features to this forum will be:

- Searching

- New user reg with 'remember me' log in

- Only send 1 notification of reply email until you revisit (stop people being bombarded with emails)

- EDIT: User profiles, mustn't forget these...

- Visual indicators for new topics/posts since your last visit (will become more important as (or if) the forum gets busier

- Restricted access forums (by security level) and sticky topics etc

- Polls

- Private messaging (if there's demand)

- Ability for moderators to delete posts - see Wrysgan topic for example of why this is needed!

- a 'Reply' button in the bar with 'Quote' above each post would be nice 😉

- If a post is given a different name to the topic it is in, then that name is picked up in the forum index rather than the name of the initial post. This post has had 'TEST' added after the name and the index displays that as the name of the whole topic.
