Just a quick plug for anyone in the SE Cornwall Area:
On 8th Sep the Society has a talk by Tony Brooks on Cornish Minining in the 20th Century. It will start at 1930 in the Liskeard Public hall, in the long room. All are welcome, non Society members donation of £2 on the door. Light refreshments will be available, an there are plenty of pubs around for a post talk re-group 😉

Several other mining related talks/walks are in the pipeline including one on the Caradon area and another on the St Neots Mines. ..thanks John
