Did a surface walk of Llanfyrnach yesterday .
The Cornish Engine House has been restored into a lovely residence, the chimney is listed. Found the adit by the river but was very wet unsurprisingly due to the recent weather. Has anyone explored the adit?

Was there an issue with access. I heard the owner (perhaps previous) was sensitive about visitors. Similarly with Trelech (Carmarthen Utd) - never sure of who to ask or whether better not to ask!

The owner, a builder lives in the Cornish Engine House; called in with him for a chat before going around the site to ask his permission and to find out what he knew. He was fine, pointed out the filled-in shafts etc. He was very pleasant . Upstream at the campsite, the owner there was very interested in the history of the mine and it was she who indicated where the adit is, across the river from the yurts and near the old Bridge for the 'Cardi Bach' railway.
