Sorry about the last minute post. :-[
This week we're having a wander through Cwmorthin with the option of a little SRT thrown in. Could be a late finish!

Meet at the Cwmorthin car park around 6:15pm.

I'm keen. Is anyone coming from, or through Llanberis? If so, let's share transport.

Hi guys, I'm trying to put the route we took through Cwmorthin on a map but I'm struggling with some areas of it.

Does anyone have a clearer map? I have tried looking at the technical guide but there is not enough information for me to work out what is where.

Thanks.

I think you are a tad confused, we didn't end up near the Oakeley boundary at all.

This map might help

Ah yes that was the map I was looking for thanks.

Which floor is the bottom of the incline where all the water is?
Is it floor E?

Yes that's right - Floor E from Chambers 1 East to 4 East where it drains down to Z44.
Incline 1 West is dark rectangle of water in front of the crane we looked down upon.
We also shone our lights down the Chamber 34 incline which drops into water below Floor G. (The building in Chamber 35 is the "Queen Mary" caban which we saw from above after crawling through that square hole in the wall at the top of the below the winding gear.)
