Hi Dan I normally put the equipment on the credits, forgot on this one .
I use for all of my photography a Olympus TG4 which suites my needs perfect, as I take it diving as well ( in a housing) it is a compact so it is easy to cart around and works very well with the 20mm wide angle that you can buy for it . It does have its faults mainly in the video department but the stills we get from it on the live composite mode are quite nice.
I think the faults mainly slow focus in low light and a funny quiver that appears sometimes if you pan to quick whilst videoing have been addressed better in the TG5 model.
I suppose somebody else will pitch in with other types of equipment to use but this camera works well for us .
As for lights, I use various set ups but on video we use Green Forch video lights which have a nice colour temp and I light paint with various torches but they all have the same colour temp at 4500 kelvins.
I you have this years calendar from Aditnow the August page is painted with these torches and live composite mode .
If you need any more info I will be more than happy to help
Paul
