With all this talk of banning diesel and electric cars taking over I'm surprised the DCC aren't looking to re-open the cobalt mine at Alderley Edge
Where exactly is all the electricity coming from to power all these additional electric cars?
That is a whole other debate
But it does seem certain that cobalt use is only going to go up, not just for cars but all sorts of gadgetry, even vacuum cleaners seem to be going rechargeable these days.
And with people becoming more aware that their mobile phone battery probably contains material mined by a child in the Congo and being a bit uncomfortable about it, if you can find somewhere else to dig some up there might be a few quid to be made?
