A wander round Wrysgan slate mine is on the cards this week. :thumbsup:
SRT? A harness and descender could be a good idea.

And as it's holiday season, let's try a slightly earlier start:

Unfortunately it's also the season for colds and flu, so please check the forum before leaving in case even more of us have fallen by the wayside. 😢

Aye...postponed my Shrewsbury mini-break as we are all full of bugs/cold/flu and its taking ages to shake off.

The Boss is full of cold too so we won't be able to make it - but hopefully she'll be better by the 1st.

I'm poorly too 😢 and I haven't been underground since I was down in south Wales at the beginning of the month, so I don't think I caught it there.

I'm afraid it's a 'non appearance' for me tonight.

This cold/man-flu/bronchitis (call it what you will) has got a vise-like grip on me & I reckon I would be hard pressed to punch my way out of a paper bag.

Was hoping to make it tonight myself, however bogged down in sorting documentation out for one of the things that can't be avoided in life...as the saying goes 😠
