Hello Folks,

As mentioned under Victorian Costume Trip thread... apologies for repeat!

We are having a Quarryman's weekend on the Talyllyn Railway as part of the 150th birthday celebrations this year, event is Saturday 2nd to 4th of May.

The main reason for giving it a mention here is we would love to have some folk in suitable Victorian costume to adorn the place and those of you who have done the Paraffin trip always look superb! Train travel is free all day for anyone dressed up and looking the part. Details of event are here..

Possibly on Monday if there is anyone driving back to the N Wales coast afterwards with a spare seat in their car.

Yes, Don and I were planning on going on Sunday morning then exploring a nearby mine in the afternoon. Going to join us for both?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
