The pair of Britten Pans at Cesailgwm Fawr disappeared over the winter. Now they would look good filled with flowers, but must have needed some lifting machinery. Was it an official removal, or just scrappies again?

Has the jaw crusher gone as well?
This was one of my favourite little treets to visit when in that area.

If that was the lump of metal lying next to the pans, then yes it has. I've just posted a couple of photos on the Cesailgwm archive album, from 1987.

"At work a typical cast iron section of boiler is 200-300kg and 2 of us can pick it up and move it"

You and your company must be breaking just about every EU safety law in the book lol

about 20 years ago they deemed a 50KG bag of cement , sand or plaster to heavy for one man to carry , cutting the weight per bag to 25KG;D

My fancy is that all this stuff goes into private collections, outdoor garden features and the like.
At some time someone may well 'see something' on their travels.
