I found this today:

http://www.cambriancavingcouncil.org.uk/pdf/newsletters/May2014.pdf

There is a detailed article on conservation and access in it. It is highly relevant to mines access in Wales.

I also note that Rhys is no longer CCC Editor?

It's a good article detailing the very good work done by a number of people.
It does indicate a framework for access to several sites that are "closed" at the moment.
However it is apparent that there will not be an
"open gates, no permit, free for all system"
that I believe some were expecting.
With all the "claims & blame culture" which we have to deal with I feel that this is inevitable.
I anticipate much complaining in some quarters! :smartass:

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
