Hi All
Just to let you know that following a reference I must admit I had never thought anything of previously in Cooke & Hunters 1866 Tunneller patent, I've just had delivered the patent drawings for the double tunneller of which we have the photos!!! The actual specification also describes how it was meant to work and move etc! Loads of other patent stuff too, mostly to do with the Munroes of Arbroath and their own machines, all will be revealed at NAMHO (well, as much as I can squeeze in, anyway). Must go and lie down now, brain overheating

..and I should have said that anyone unable to attend because of going on the various trips and those who would not be there anyway, I will give a concise 😉 update here just as soon as I can! (you wouldn't want all the complicated bits, would you?)

... and if anyone is unable to attend, the conference proceedings will (assuming I succeed in extracting the texts of the lectures from the speakers*) be published by Welsh Mines Society.
