After nearly two hundred years, one wave has destroyed this little lookout hut at the end of portreath pier.

I must pop down and see the extent of the damage. The swell last weekend was huge and that combined with the spring tide must have been the final straw.
It's a shame when you consider the horrific storms it's survived over the years.
The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.
