I think normal service has been resumed. After a busy few weeks we may have almost a full complement of reqular Thursday Nighters free this week! :thumbsup:

A couple of ideas have been suggested:
1. SRT practice in Cwmorthin
2. A wander around Cwt y Bugail

I'm always up for a bit of SRT and Willy Eckers (our new "designated rigger" 😉 ) is keen to practice his bunny ears.

On the other hand I haven't been to Cwt y Bugail for a couple of years and a few people suggested it. Its a fairly straightforward trip and suitable for a cold, wet, dark Winter evening!

Yep I agree....time to wade into the haunted level to find the ghost of the person who abseiled down the rope tied off on the ammo box :lol:
Seriously though that is one spooky tunnel and I ain't going down there alone again 😮

I'm definitely bringing my wet gear to sort out the spooky tunnel once and for all, however there is lots to see and do without getting haunted or wet....for example there are AT LEAST two opportunities to get buried alive! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yeh I would be interested in coming along if thats ok? I havent got a clue where it is tho. Could someone give me the directions and possibly a contact number in case I get lost or delayed from work?

What kind of kit do you wear for mining? Ive got standard caving gear or a wetsuit!!

More than welcome to come along :thumbsup:
Standard caving kit will be just fine....I'm wearing my wetsuit this week as I know where we are headed when we get in there. There is one wet bit but it can easily be avoided so don't worry about it.
