Me and Jay are coming, but I think I'll be sat at the top nursing my cold  Dont worry, I think its passed the contagious period (Probably).

Will see how I feel over the next few hours, either way i'm coming but still on the fence about venturing underground. ::)

It is ... except the bottom main level. when you hit the main bottom run, if you go right (against the flow of water) it will just go over your wellies (doesn't it always?). If you go left (with the flow) it won't go over wellies (unless it is in flood).

Of course, you need to avoid the holes in the floor at the far end or you will get VERY wet 😉

Great trip, thanks Ian.
I want to know more history now, it must have been quite a big undertaking once.

So we went into a capped-off stope near "Bog Issa shaft" last night then? Or did we? Would you have a FlashEarth link to the field/track where we parked please? :flowers: :flowers:

We run a Lego shop and I used to work on the gold mines so a Lego Gold miner seemed appropriate!

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
