Fron Boeth as the weather forecast looks favourable 😉

There is an alternative plan if the weather is bad, but doesn't involve curry this week...sorry! 😉

Meet in Croesor at 1800.

Full details to follow later on, when I get time!! :curse:

I'm busier than a one-armed taxi driver today

@pingu: Special cake....count me in! Erm...you haven't been to Amsterdam recently have you??

Ok Fron Boeth...take two!

A good hike this week for anyone who fancies a second attempt at a trip to Fron Boeth? It's a really enjoyable walk on a summer's evening with some breathtaking scenery and a really nice mine thrown in for good measure.
There is a short abseil SRT through trip which looks like fun so we can tackle that while we are there and there are plenty of nooks, crannies and artefacts to explore and photograph.

So far we have:

Myself
Simonrl
Llion
Willy Eckerslyke...c'mon...you know that you want to!
Pingu (flying visit!)

Any more? Strangely? Skimble? Blober? Jay? Chrisj? Carlin?
Any new faces fancy a night out?

We'll meet up in Croesor car park, here:

http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.982027&lon=-4.03977&z=17.2&r=0&src=msa

At 1800 (approx 😉 ) and walk up from there.

Bearing in mind that the walk up would not be pleasant in the pouring rain, like last week, please check this thread the day before....if the weather turns bad we have an alternative plan which does involve an underground trip, which doesn't involve a long hike in the rain, is warm, dry and cosy for about three hours and then cold, wet and horrible for the last five minutes

Roll up, roll up! See you there

No its not Dutch cake but it should be a cake to remember.  " A man can neither haveth his cake and eateth his cake"!!!! (Duke of Norfolk to Thomas Cromwell). A nice bit of cake at the end of an evenings exploration should encourage you to return to the outside world before 2 am!!

Would this depend on how much cake has been eaten?

6pm 🙂 See you there.

@Llion, have you got your rope handy? I can bring rope if not.

@Sinker - do you still have the bag of bolty bits in the car? There should be enough trinkets in there!
