Completely off topic but next time I'm up/down/west does anyone fancy a look at Snowdon Brittania, or others in the region?

I went to Garreg Fawr iron mine few days ago and whilst most of the workings are very shallow, one, very muddy adit does appear to go deeper... pity I don't have a map of the place!

I've always wanted to see the lower parts of parc, just thought i'd put my suggestion out there 😉 and I believe they are rather the watery/muddy adventure

I have been horrendously busy chaps, fifteen hour shifts last couple of days...time and tide waits for no man etc.
I'm free this week, but (cards on the table) I haven't even begun to think about where we might go, although I would like a trip somewhere as I have been going stir crazy, not to mention sea sick, on that damn barge. Oh and I definitely won't be free next week, the 7th, so let's go fot it! :thumbsup:

Looking at the list... not much left form the last Thinking Night*

Drws y Coed - if anybody fancies an SRT trip?
Anything around Sygun - upper stopes - might benefit from being a bit later in the year (more daylight for hillside floundering)
Rhiw Penmachno - I've never been, is there much there?

Or something unmentionable?

* Actually last Friday was International Thinking Day - but apaprently only if you're a Girl Guide or Scout :lol:

Just to let the Thursday nighters know I'm not going to be about for the next four weeks 😞 (Drakelow will be my next trip). Off to foreign lands and a bit further than just England this time.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

We have plan 🙂 Regulars have been informed (I think) or at least if not will be tomorrow. If not, PM me!

Might be advisable to bring SRT kit - minimal - just personal srt kit. It's not SRT as such but it will be useful.
