Last time I went to Cambrian we parked at the head of Quarry Road and then wandered through the trees until we got to the wet adit. You can also access this section of the workings by scrambling down into the pit and approaching it from the other direction.
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=glyn+ceiriog&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x487ab4727076fcfb:0x73642eb5db139254,Glyn+Ceiriog,+Wrexham&gl=uk&ei=cQq5UPjULK6T0QWo54CYBw&sqi=2&ved=0CDcQ8gEwAQ
Thanks to the utter uselessness of Apple devices I can't add a pushpin to that map but Quarry Road is to the East of the village.
There are two sections to Cambrian, both have flooded areas.
The more Eastern workings are more easily accessed via the pit, and if you're going directly to the pit it would probably be easier to approach from the other direction and park at the edge of the forest on the road that passes the north edge of the pit. Again if this stupid device would let me out a pushpin on a google map I would....
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

Cambrian is a bit... soggy... when it's been raining, and no amount of Dive gear helps with that.
