Was the drop down the stope at the end of thr pump rod? Where they head downwards?

For those who dont know the deep adit is explorable in full. Recommended route is the abseil down from the level with the rods, entry by the portal is not really much fun, see the pics.

Tell you what, I will upload a survey I did a few years back.

I think you can get to the bottom of the pump if you persist in the deep level too.
