Myself, StaffordshireChina and 4737Carlin had a nice, relaxed wander around Cambrian. Me and 4737Carlin arrived to meet SC at the usual parking spot after a few traffic delays and *cough* navigational errors, at 6:30ish.

The stream was quite high, so we didn't venture into the crawl from Martins, as we didn't have wet gear on, and water was pouring into it.

There has been a new fall too. When you go in the open chamber, and go right to the flooded incline, a block has hit the floor where the tunnel goes off to the chamber with stacked deads. Otherwise, nothing else to worry about.

My battery decided not to charge properly (New Balance/Charger on order), so My lamp would only run on low, so no pictures from me. 4737Carlin took a few, so he will likely get those posted up soon.

So, see you in a month? 😉

It was a nice wander around, no-one fell over anything, and we all walked out with the requisite number of Limbs attached.

Other than that, I don't think I set the bar that high! 😞 TurboSteve would have done a better job, (he practically lives in there), but he's off sunning it up in Florida! Hope you're having a good time there matey, but bring some sun back, it's fooking freezing!

So, Rockchick, Any ideas about Location for next month? Penarth maybe?

Belgrave is doable without SRT. You only need SRT for the round trip really. It's a nice little mine. Go in both adits to explore the upper and lower workings 🙂

Hi, sorry, been out on site in yorkshire for the last couple of weeks- only just back. Not had a chance to scout the place out in daylight yet! All the info i have on the place is from the UCET link as well- is anyone else about to get over there and take a look? not sure when i'll manage it in daylight!

when's best for folks? staffordshire china can't do the next couple of weeks (and no way can i make tonight).
how's the 23rd for everyone (organising things well in advance now!!) :lol:
