yes and no. A loco would be useless to him but he rallies the tractor when the mood takes him.

Bit of a late reply,but the loco in Old glory Magazine is number 44,and sold at auction for £21,000!

These tractor chaps seem to have money to burn. I recently saw a bog standard Field Marshall tractor go for £12,000 at an auction. The loco version is an incredibly rare varient hence the price.

Some of the more desirable tractors go for really silly money - £60 - 70 K

apparently only 46 loco versions were ever made,and most of them ended up overseas!I think an eimco would be more fun,especially if you could pick one up for £50!

the eimco is a lot of fun 🙂

I acquired it from a clear-out at a plant yard, the tunnelling company I was working for at the time was clearing out various old sewage works around the Severn Trent area. Anything worth keeping was taken to the yard, but no-one wanted the eimco. So, I paid £50 for it ( for haulage ) and stashed it at a friend's small-holding along with 3 panels of track.

we used it to clear the rubble from his barn conversion a few years ago.
