Where there was a hopper between the rise you climb to get to Bog Shaft and the shaft fall, there is now another fall.
The hopper led into a stope directly under the one with the ladder but didn't appear to be linked but it did have what looked like a choked link up to the shaft. It seems that this connection is now less choked as there is now a lot of shaley stuff nearly blocking the horse level.
Judging by the mud on the level floor this looks to have been water driven.
Interesting in a way as I had expected this hopper to go as there were a lot of deads sitting on a very rotten timber but there's no sign that these have moved!

I didn't go up the rise so I have no idea what the state of the shaft is but it is likely to look a bit different to a few weeks ago! The fall wasn't there when I was last there in January.

I think I took this looking in-bye from the climb up to Bog Shaft.

That's the one.
Now blocked with a pile of fine dross up to the top of the timber sloping down.
Enough room to squeeze through but not much more.
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...
