You guys (and girls!) might want to tune in to BBC2 @ 5:15pm tommorow (friday 17th).
Escape to the Country will be featuring both Llechwedd slate Caverns and the working quarry!
Thought it could be of interest!..

Very interesting indeed. You never know it might open new opertunities for Eryl and yourself as actors if the right people were watching.
Apparently my wife's great grandparents Daniel and Margaret Davies lived at one of the cottages in 1871 as Daniel was a miner at the mine.

And on the other side of the hill my great grandparents William and Ellen Jones and all the familly lived at Votty Cottage in Lord quarry (Votty) in 1881 as he looked after the water leats and lakes which powered the mills at the time.
