You were asking for some pictures of the abseil from DE to F floor, which I assume you mean to be the one at the far end?

Here are some pics. In this one, the water was pouring over the edge in a rather unpleasant waterfall:

Its quite a nice abseil too! My second ever! Before that I had only been down the bat cave off DE floor.

Bit scared of your abseils now! The one in the bat cave only has one bolt and the rope pulls down directly on it!

Ay, well I didn't put that bolt there, it was always there, and so way the rope - I wonder how old it is...

I'm still up for rebolting that and the way up on the other side at some point. I'll put it on the list.

dunno, it's about 20 mins walk one end t'other. Used to be a lot longer until a retaining wall blew out (caused by untopping from above). The original adit has long since been quarried away but I have a nice picture of it taken in the 1950's.

What we call DE floor today is only the New Vein Level, there is a matching level (that we've never touched) in the Old Vein, and possibly also Back Vein and Narrow Vein. DE Floor really is (was) a whole floor, rather than just one level, and only half of that we can get to today 😞
