Hi everyone, it seems like an age since i last ventured underground, so this weekend we are heading down to
Wiltshire.

Besides the obvious, well known mines, are there any accessible that may be worth a look in? Not interested in Box, although unsure on access there anyway, but the other mines I have visited are Swans and Browns Folley.

Is there anything else in the area worth a look? Please PM me rather than mention anywhere publicly as I do understand that Wiltshire has an issue with unwanted visitors. Would prefer a none rope trip and I have BCA if required.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Simple answer, is no... For whatever reasons, generally idiots and fu£kwittery, internet exposure and the like, all good stuff that Wiltshire once had to offer, is off the list.

You've already referred to the remaining 2 sites where access isn't an issue (sort of)
Over-ground, underground, wombling free...

That's saddening 😞 I guess we will revisit the 2 accessible then, it's always nice to have a wander around above ground at Brown's, let's just hope the weather is half decent... Thank you anyway.

One i forgot to mention is westwood, but my last understanding was that it was similar situation to box?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
