Has anyone got any information on this mine and/ or anything on B30 or any of the other close nd possibly linking mines please?

Good account of the recent exploration in the CAT Journal, and a book on the Lindal Moor Mines (I think called the Iron Moor). Will have to look up the correct titles but I am sure someone else will get these before me as I am away for a week.

Yes "The Iron Moor" by Alan McFadzean published by Red Earth Publications. Highly recommended.

and there was a little book by Eric Holland, "Caving in Furness" I believe, written quite a few years ago.

The Mine Explorer #3 and #5 has something as well, according to my database.

Have a vague recollection of flicking through a new book on Cumbrian iron mining last time I was in the Lakes. Can't remember the title or the exact subject matter though which isn't much help!

Daft as it sounds there are 3 of them to my knowledge.
The Furness iron mine, (this thread)
The Devon copper mine, (your link), Tavistock
The Cornwall copper/tin mine, Madron
This dosn't include the easts and wests and souths etc

Yes - I was in there about 3 months ago. It was, as all Furness Mines must be, a complete sh****le but oh so interesting.

Then, the way through to the Derby workings was open and I suspect, with this recent rain it has closed up again.

But get down there and look for yourself. The 90' entrance shaft has a perfect hang off the overhanging tree.

The skulls at the bottom are from the nearby abattoir, when it was used as a dump for offal.
