Not sure if i've asked this before but......

Somewhere up the Valency valley in Boscastle, i've vauge memories of an adit or 2 heading off into the hillside. As its 25 years since i was last there, i may be wrong but:

Its wasn't far from the Gifteque in Boscastle (the big carpark what got wiped out by the flood).

Its on the right hand side as you walk up the valley quite high up the bank.

Ring any bells with people?. Pretty sure i did ask before but didn't note down the answer!.

I grew up in Boscastle and know of one adit in Valency Valley about 50-100m past the stepping stones (before the gate at the end of the clearing) across the river.

It's probably about 20m up the bank and is difficult to see from the downstream side.

I've never been inside but am going to check it out next time I'm up that way. If there is anything worth exploring I'll post some pictures!
