Nenthead Visit from Belgium Explorers - Guides Needed

Thought I would start a new thread with this as the other ones title is miss leading now.

Resurrecting this thread, the Belgium's are coming over 11th Nov middayish and leaving on 14th.

Have we got any takers on helping showing them around Nenthead. They are not bringing wetsuits or SRT gear, so just walk ins / climbs / scrambles.

I will be able to do the Friday, and was wondering if any others could do a bit on Thurs and Sat / Sun?

My thoughts are that we should show them SC, RG and BH ? Coupled with maybe some surface stuff for interest, if they get sick of underground.

Just a gentle bump for this.

Admittedly it's mid-week, but is there anybody around the Nent area around 11th November to 14th November that guide a visiting group of Belgian mine explorers? Mr Mike has suggested Smallcleugh, Rampgill and Brownley Hill.

Sat or Sun are the days needed, as Friday is covered, and I may be also able to do Thurs.

Think Simon has pencilled in the monthly moors trip for that Sunday as well Chris.

If your really stuck i could possibly offer guidance for the sat trip. I have to be in Alderley Edge on the Sunday for a DCRO practise but if no one else can offer as a guide then let me know.

at the moment I will say that both sat 13 sun 14 nov are looking good,cannot plan to far into the future but pencil me in for both days 🙂

Hello,

We will have all SRT-kits, but probably no wetsuits... Maybe if possibly we can do some trough-trips between mines.

I did the round trip from smallcleugh to rampgill yesterday and must say the water was a bit higher than i remember but not too bad. Only a short section of crotch deep water but other than that fine 🙂
