A 2 year project is now starting with HLF funding to research the social history connected with Cornwall & Devon quarrying.
The Peninsula Quarry Industry Social History Trust has appointed Dr. Kayleigh Milden to manage the project which will gather oral history evidence and produce a website. An exhibition is also planned. Anyone interested in contributing to the project is asked to contact Kayleigh at Plymouth City Museum.
