Tis a shame wansdyke have sealed the place now but am glad to say I got to visit the ammo dump before it was locked down 🙂

I've uploaded some more (loads to come). All my shots of Farleigh were taken between 1984 and 1991.
That was the last time I was down there.

Some Cracking pictures there 🙂 Got to say am very jealous i would of loved to have seen that place when it was still rigged up and before the copper thieves got there hands to it.

Whilst trying to date some of my earliest visits I came across this pic, seems to date the disc cutting of FD Tunnel door as 1983.

Place was a wreck in 1979 though.

I remember that well. Nick has some photos taken of 20 dist when he "visited" in 1969.

Way before my time, only "visited" the place after a mate from Brum (of all places), sent me his rough paced survey. Probably late 1970s.

I have copies of all of the MOD plans, they are a bit big to upload but if demand warrants I can photograph them.

Any pics of the 'Stores Cavern' under Dudley Zoo, failed to take any whilst I was there.

I only have the one of the 144 I uploaded, sorry.

I will do the MF plans next week, promise.
All stamped "Top Secret", so Roy puts them on the bloody Internet. I should be in 28DL

The MOD plans were sold as souveniers by us (in fact I almost died printing them, bloody ammonia printer) they are a bit big, ask Nick or I have them somewhere. The pre 1950s plan shows all the light fittings (25,000 ish) but of course the air system changed after that.
They were cheaper than getting postcards printed, we also sold "MOD light bulbs" (mostly duff) but we had a few to sell, anyone got any ? ::)
