I was asked if the shaft was open when i took the pic... it wasn't I'm afraid it was blocked about 12feet down.

This is up by minions, yes? I've dropped stowes shaft but unfortunately the deep adit has run in. I saw what looks to be a lidded shaft in the cheesewring quary as well.

It seemed about 15 - 20 degrees... (thats only an estimate)!!

Interesting thing to "block".

I'm curious as all the shafts in the area are not visible. I assume they were sollared over with granite and backfilled.
