So here goes....... Done a small reccy on South Cumberland bout a fortnight ago, from what I can gather, there appears to be 4 or 5 adits over 3 levels, can anyone provide any information before I pay a genuine visit in, or would anyone like to join me on a small trip?
Any answers would be much appreciated...... Thanks 😉

you dont say where the mines are, I visited some in the area some years ago quite interesting, but narrow, will have to go into my notes and have a look if they are the same any info I have will pass on to you.

Cheers minerat, South Cumberland is a right at the near Boot inn to the church, cross the footbridge and follow the river around until you see the unnatural formations at the riverbank.
Nab gill is left at the near Boot inn to the head of Boot village and the mine workings just jump out at you (not physically 😮 )
