Hi Guys

I am no video expert but I have put this together for you guys to see what Holme bank has to offer below the water line.

My friend has put it up on his You Tube Channel

Hope you all enjoy πŸ˜‰

Good video:thumbsup:

Any reason why you are using back mounted tanks as opposed to side mount?

We use both styles buddy. I find photography is much easier with back mounted cylinders, in here it doesn't really matter as the passages alow both styles.

Do a Google image search under 'Freshwater Isopod Crustation' looks like it's one of them.

Thanks Morlock the second picture on the link looks exactly like them " Aquatic Pillbugs " , but is this really there habitat ? I have only seen them in the water at Holme Bank nowhere else.

I would guess they were washed in from elsewhere on the surface and now survive quite well in the dark on the old wooden props.

BTW: A very nice video.

That is what my thoughts were as Holme Bank water levels go up and down a LOT and the river is so close by, I think originally the little critters were washed through from there and have colonised, they are not all over the place and most divers miss them. I did enjoy filming them and adding them to the video as nobody else has .

I was wondering, does he wear freshwater or saltwater pearls, to go with the twinset?

Sorry

Ok guys let me educate you none divers, a twinset in diving terms is two cylinders on your back. And usually VERY heavy hence his achievements at his age .

Not being into cross dressing myself I would not know what you guys are on about 😒

Not necessarily cross dressing. Only knowing of the non diving twinset, it just brought to mind the rather bizarre image of my old school Headmistress, resplendent in her twinset & pearls, whilst cave diving ::)

I've a rather over active imagination!

Nice video though.
