Before I make the longish journey across to re-visit Willow Close, Crops Acre and the Church mines, could someone tell me if they are still open?

Its been a good 10 years since my last visit, but I've heard rumours that some of them might have been back-filled or damaged by the solar farm.

They have all been grilled by the landowner, sorry.

Thanks Roy. Gutted that they are all closed now. Had many a good trip down willow when I was growing up in the area.
Don't suppose its even possible to 'squeeze through the grill' if you get my drift. Desperate to get down for old times sake.

No, no way through. And the landowner makes very threatening noises about anyone seen attempting to get into the mines.

I had many happy hours in there, but at the end of day there are plenty of other places to go.
