can u tell me if the little fella on the right hand side of the photo is tony Wilson a deputy at moorgreen right up to its closure

Yes it is Tony Wilson,however I cant recall him being a Deputy ,he was a ripper down the North side of the pit.He lived at Westwood.

Tony ended up as a deputy in the headings down the North side and was a bit of a nob, good header but a power mad deputy.

Of course still messing with wireless :angel:,trying to recall you but you will have to remind me.My rememberance of Tony is when him and his buddy got knicked for pinching saddles from somewhere Alfreton way.And me bollocking him for trying to smash a phone because it was engaged,he was trying to ring Cogger the nightshift overman.

Tried playing the hard man with me and lost, tried reporting it which as you know wasn't the done thing, and tried using the headers as witnesses. None of them saw a thing of course and suddenly his new car got seriously damaged which he tried blaming me for.

Just so happened I was abroad that week and its only recently I found out which of the headers did it, all of them as they knew I was abroad.

I was the one who put the CB aerial at the top of the headgear with Addy and him, Geoff Clay (no longer with us) Mog Hines, and Frank Cheeseman used to wind people up.

It looks very much like him on far right day day,he is apparently in a nurseing home suffering from dementia.Pat Gerrard told me that.

I can definitely tell you it is not Tony Wilson I have got the original picture I have been to see Tony in the nursing home I was talking to Pat Gerard just a few weeks ago day day
