Looking for a surface plan of Ashton Moss colliery as detailed
as possible, showing the canals and railways in and around
the area, say about 1930s or 1950s, the OS maps of the
area are impossible to understand being a complex transport
system. also can anyone publish photos of this colliery.

Which Ashton Moss Colliery in particular ?
[Edit] Ah now I know - the one near Manchester - would not the 25" or even 50" OS help - I'm sure Manchester Ref Library would have one.
