Yes I have. Will fire them up in due course; not many though. Went in there while staying at St Agnes a few times. Thought it advisable to go at night to prevent happy sun bathers suddenly being overwhelmed with ochre ! I believe we reached the intersection of Turnavore Shaft but perhaps you may put me right on that one. Someone recently told me the adit had now collapsed (Anne McCurdy I recall) but don't know the veracity of that info.
Yes, it was food for thought at the time. "I was only in there Easter!"
Turnavore Shaft is interesting as I crossed it in a dingy, or tried to. Sat on the end, pushed off and splash. I got out of the water PDQ. Went back in a wetsuit and swam it. There was a timbered section on the other side but it went to a dead end. This may answer someones question.
I also remember a side level where someone had been doing a bit of ore dressing on a sort of home made shaker or similar.
More memories, this should be intersting.
The sort of chamber type stope with the old shaft coming down in your Yesterdays Golcondas. There was a climb up there that went up and up and must have been close to surace at the top.
Proceeding beyond the chamber was a fall but you could climb up into a stope with a stone lined shaft dropping into a continuation of the level. I dropped that and got into a passage that was really iff, crawling under falling timbers etc. I got into a huge stope with three tiers of stulls rising above me.
I notice the Parc stuff as well, forgot to ask for this.
You can still get to western Cwffty and Cwffty Western Shaft. A fall blocks progress to that shaft at the next level up, the 10. But climb up to DA and drop western to get to the now isolated bit.
Also, Llanrwst Diagonal in no 2 has gone, you can get through the fall by one of my digs.
My avatar is a poor likeness.
