Yesterday I made a trip from Rampgill down a couple of sumps and out through Brownley Hill; it was a little damp...
The water is chest-chin deep for a fairly long distance, with one section where I was ballancing on tip-toes on the rails to keep my nose out the water.
With a few hours work I think I could significantly lower the water level through a lot of it, but should I do that?
Although lowering the water level would make the trip more accessible and pleasant, I found the deep water the most enjoyable and exciting part of it. The passage is passable, so should it just be left?
What's everyone elses view on the matter?
The distance between stupidity and genius is measured only by success.
