http://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=12449.msg161037;topicseen#new  and since T-Pot works at Cavendish mill he can be considered a reliable source!

I'd heard through people with Glebe connections that they'd found a buyer but hadn't heard of official confirmation coming out. I'll watch out for an official press release....

The openworking permission for Tearsall is still live so we may see that getting worked, but what happens next at Milldam will probably depend on how much money the new owners are prepared to invest to get at the western extent of the Hucklow Edge vein.

As for other possible sources, I'm not sure whether there's enough spar left in the Moss Rake area to make further working viable, and there can't be much left in Longstone Edge now!

Well hopefully the funding will come and we can keep some active mining in Derbyshire 🙂

Great news that, let's hope this does come to fruition and the new owners have the will & money to reopen the Milldam mine. It will be good to see the Mill running again and return jobs to the area.
The management thanks you for your co operation.
